Itching to race

Due to the postponement of the race, I'm now lacking 2 spokes, a chain-ring bolt, and have bent bars. Do i get some form of handicap for riding on less than a complete bike?

This postponement may give me a chance to jump on the bandwagon!

Any ideas when it might be?

£400 is a fair bit to play with. If i were you I'd get a second hand frame for around £150. If you take a look at this http://www.lfgss.com/thread34408.html (pictures taken down) you can get a good idea of what you can get for that money. Then £250 on parts could get a nice new wheelset and cranks.
