I take it I should have bought a Red one then.... arse to busy marvelling at my eBay prowess to notice I was being a twat......Hmm nail polish ?

The LED colour is White....I can use it as a front light but it sort of makes the Bettle i got with it redundant. I don't feel too bad as i paid £15 for the pair....

I've tried this before. Didn't want to fork over £££ for an amber Dinotte so thought I'd give the Blue Peter approach a go.
Currently building a frame from old Smarties tubes. Licorice whip chain, wagon wheel chainring, bourbon pedals, toblerone seatpost etc.

I've got a front and back knog gekko (I think, 3 leds) and it annoys me that the back one isn't brighter. The front one is really bright, the back one seems dim compared to my niterider. Maybe I should do this and sell the back one.

@ Japeseye, I've got a few wheels left over from a build that didn't happen if you're interested?
I had half a dozen when I took the photo, but I got hungry.

Try dipping it in red ink a few times maybe.
Or leave the plastic cover in food colouring or dye, maybe that will work.

it's simply because it's red.
cover the front one and you'll see the brightness dim a little, unless your gekko is seriously dim.
I bought a Knog Bullfrog from ebay but only just noticed when delivered that its white. Are you allowed to have a white rear light on a bike or should it be red ?
Thanks
