For 135 spacing use a single speed disc hub and a bolt on cog - makes life much easier:

This one is unkillable - gives a 53mm chainline - standard for a single speed moutain bike. Get the cogs from velo solo.

thanks, looks like a good option. I don't suppose you know what size the axle is?
and if you can build it without dishing for some flip/flop action? -

yep, totally undished.
10mm hollow axle - easily replaced with solid if you really want to.
It's the set up I use on my fixed mountain bike - is that what you're building?

oh - bolt on cogs from here:

actually its a polo bike.
i'd been considering getting the hub velosolo were selling before,
but this seems like a better option for similiar money, so thanks for the heads up. -

oh, the freewheel thread isn't a normal freewheel thread..

your only issue there is that this gives a 53 chainline - Easiest way is to get a triple and use the outer ring - I use a thorn triple on a 103jis taper and that's cock on - best drivetrain i've ever built.
Hi,
looking for a fixed/fixed rear hub with 135mm (mountainbike) spacing, 36 hole
I know on-one usually sell them but they are out of stock.
I don't want anything flash, used is absolutely fine, trying not to spend much.
thanks very much
