What would you do in my place?

I've known someone for about 14 years. We've always been close as friends and have slept together on various occasions over the last 10 years. over this time it was never serious in terms of thinking about a proper relationship, we've always been away from each other doing different things or then involved with other people. Recently its got a lot more serious though and if things were any different than they were i would be looking forward to a real future together. I know i love her and she says she loves me. trouble is she is engaged and is getting married later this year. i wont ask / tell her to leave him because it has to be her choice. she says its not an impossibility but is terrified of the fall out if she does and is not anyway unhappy with him. she says she knows it has to end if / when she gets married but prefers to just burry her head in the sand and ignore the issue...every day her wedding approaching. evey thought keeps screaming at me to just walk away, except when i'm with her it feels so right and we are growing closer and closer - i wonder whether she just needs time to figure out what she wants.

sometimes i think that this is just a really sordid mess that i should end and walk away from, that i'm a total shit for screwing with someone elses engagment, that she is equally a total shit for screwing around with me whilst engaged, but it feels completely right.

opinions, thoughts, advice, insults welcome - i'm tired of thinking about it myself.
