Bar tape with Italian flag finishing tape

Pretty much as title discribes, thought ambrosio does but the ones I found on the bay are black.
Looking for White leather feel or plain as possible (no massive logos) non cork and in White, for some cinelli pista drops.
Suggestions? Cheers

I picked up some Silva bar tape called Nastritalia at the last track day, I think Joe got them from 14bikeco or whatever they're called.

You can sort of see the finishing tape in this pic.

A bit OT but if anyone wants some Benotto tape with the Italian flag colours then PM me and you can have it for nowt.

Wicksie, electircal tape is the best stuff to use, got to your local hardware store and you can get it in pretty much every colour under the sun, make sure its nice and warm before you apply it for the best results.

cotton bar tape work too, quite smart as well.

about £1-2 for a roll of cotton tape from your bike shop.

Was hoping for some pimping logo-age though which looks a bit smarter (imo) but failing that, electrical or cotton tape. Condor tried to sell me some special bar tape tape for about £4, which was essentially electrical tape. C*&ts.

yeah, you might as well use benotto tape :)

I've used white heat shrink tubing before, looks smart but it is quite thick and has a bit of a sharp edge to it.

I see, so it is to go on top of 'proper' tape. Would still feel shit to me compared to the nice texture of a good bar tape but that will probably be down to my super soft office worker hands!

To the OP, i think that cinelli used to do bar wrap finishing tape, although the last batch of cinelli tape i got came with plain black. I think you could try an older style bike shop, one that sepcialises in road bikes, as they may well have some lying around.

Tour de ville and freshtripe are a good bet for nos stuff. Also velosolo.

Yeah I reckon like I said I've seen some ambrosio tape with the Italian finishing tape maybe have to go NOS failing that get down the leccy shop and see what they have, or maybe should go Benotto tape as it is for a Benotto pista, but got NOS San marco laser in White leather so wanted to match up
