I never knew that there was such as thing as a Corby Tie Press.
Stap me vittles.
What condition would you say the toaster was in- NOS/Very good/decent etc?

Toaster is in very good condition. It is fully working. These things are opretty bullet proof and this has no dents etc. Only selling as it was my wife's and I already had a bigger one so it has now come out of storage.

Corby tie press - one of those xmas presents from years ago that I used twice. presses a tie OK and still in its box... will do the trouser and tier presses as a job lot for £25.

Do I need a bullet proof toaster? Competition for the kettle can get pretty heated in the morning
-

After some vigorous cooking the other day I noticed that the handle/plunger thing on my current toaster had melted from the heat coming from the hob, so I'd say robustness is a handy thing to have.

There is literally nothing more satisfying in this world than having a proper man toaster. Everything else in the kitchen has gone the way of plasticky gimmicky poncy disposableness. A proper four slice, beigel destroying toaster in FUCKING GUNMETAL AND CHROME that's so heavy it'll put your back out if you move it wrong - that's more than just a breakfast item, that's a statement of manhood so intense it renders all women within a 200 meter radius instantly pregnant.
BE A MaN. OwN A TOaSTER.

Interesting- so a high testosterone test result can be excused if you own a Dualit toaster?
-
• #10
I have a red Dualit toaster so that i can be manly with the metalness of it whilst still in touch with my feminine side as it matches the colour of the glass splashboards around the kitchen.

And you kitchen can have a quality, aesthetically pleasing, appliacnce too.... this is the equivalent of a dura ace chain set running with a white industries rear cog!
-
• #12
I really want that toaster... Hmmm...
-
• #13
Go for it then... buy it... you won't regret this purchase...
-
• #14
I bought one for my parents last Christmas and can attest to the fine quality of toast that it produces, and the aesthetically pleasing nature of said toaster.
Which is why I am wondering whether or not to get it as my current toaster has seen better days.

That toaster looks very masculine. Perhaps if i purchase said toaster, my wife will let me be the man once in a while....
I hope to to make a decision and dib said toaster before anyone else is able to make thier decision and dib said toaster
