Nope its just how I found it most comfortable, the central buckle has adjustable straps either side so you can shorten the top section of the shoulder strap

Could the bag be like, much higher up on your back? I see in one of the photos, that the strap is like pulled right up the shoulder padding meaning no more material to make it short if you get what i mean?
