you're probably better off using this http://www.retrobike.co.uk/auction/ and scour their ads.

Hey Harry - did you get my PM? (or was it blank - issues with firefox and the forum) - anyway, another +1 for retrobike. Let me know if you want me to post a wanted ad for you if you don't want to sign up yourself...
(sorry - sold the stem shortly just after the frame. I have got a pair of Cannondale spec 26" rigida rims on coda hubs along with the majority of the groupset sat somewhere in my shed if you'd be interested. Oh, and some purple adonised MX100(?) forks from wayyyyyy back, not sure about the steerer length though...)
EDIT - none of the above are particularly 'trick'

Retrobike is likely your best bet but cheap and Middleburn, Bullseye, Cooks, Ringle don't usually appear in the same sentence I'm afraid.

I have a middleburn chainring and a old shimano stx groupset. (separate)
- If I remember correctly there may be a little pedal thread damage on the cranks. Plus the chain & cassette is worn. But the chainrings on the stx cranks + derailiuers should be fine.
I also have a marin frame with oversize but threaded headset & stem. Canti brakes with a full new set of cables.
Good quality wolber rear wheel.

I have a set of Cook Bros cranks - 175 and silver. There's a bit of play between the spider and the crank but don't think it will be a problem on a SS build. Wouldn't use them for fixed though. Come with an unused granny ring, a well used middle ring and a few red anodised chain ring bolts. Could do them for £40 if you're interested. Also have a NOS Race face bash ring that will fit them and whcih I can add on for a tenner.
I'm after some cheap but fairly "trick" mtb parts, for an early 90's fun SS hack mtb:
will also consider other stuff you might have...
if you've got anthing languishing at the bottom of your parts bin, i'd love to take it off your hands for a reasonable price
cheers!
