I'd rather have Leona Lewis.

A ghastly, hectoring band who based their career on one song. And even that takes bloody ages to get going.
Give me Susan Boyle, or Whitehouse. -

It really hasn't aged well, that song. And 606 is right: it does take ages to get going.
If you're going to run a campaign like this I reckon it should be done properly. Rickroll the Christmas no. 1.

Okay, it has nothing to do with bikes, but, it needs to happen! There's a thorough explanation on the Facebook group...

I barely use Facebook and dread logging in because the longer you leave it the more you have to deal with when you log in.
Instead of linking with very little explanation, how about you put the explanation in here?

It's a campaign to get everyone to buy Rage Against the Machine's 'Killing in the Name of' from iTunes, so that it becomes the Christmas number one.
It seems to be largely inspired by the fact that there is some swearing at the end, which will cause Simon Cowell to quake in his boots and not have the X factor any more. -

stop being an old man mr quinn, 'killing in the name' is a brilliant song, however, i don't think it'll be no.1 for xmas though[t]

The music is pedestrian and the lyrics naive and simplistic.
It has nothing on the majesty that is Terry Wogan's "Floral Dance"
-
• #13
it's fucking excellent and so is Bullet In The Head.
I like swearing in music.

I used to to like listening to RATM on my way to university on the bus 'FUCK YOU I WON"T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME" I would angrily sing in my head before going inside the university and sitting down to do my lessons all day. I used to get so full of anarchic angst in those days that I did'nt even phone my mum and dad one weekend. I'm surprised I'm still here to be honest.

Glad to see i'm not the only one who thinks that is just a song for 15 year olds who think that they don't need mummy and daddy to look after them.
This would make a much better xmas No.1
