9th January here :

At the fountain on St James street

The idea for this one will be like a supermarket sweep - the checkpoints will
mostly be items of food etc from unique stores around Brighton which will then
be re-distributed at the end of the race to the homeless shelter in st James
street. A bit of a chance to have some fun and do some good.

Spoke-card nearly done!

Only been riding fixed for a week or so but yeah, well up for embarrassing myself

gonna be a very much embarassing show of how living in brighton for 21 years doenst mean i have a clue about road names!
Is this going to be fixed specific? I am debating bringin my roadie down for this, or my new polo bike hoping for some brighon polo, and then trying to sort out a bike once im in brighton

So how long will it be, are you going to publish a route or something? Want to know if I'll actually make it or just end up in a sweating, wheezing pile somewhere up Queen's street

nah dont puclish the route first, (although this isnt my race so cant dictate...) normally jst give alist of the shops or whatever it is we are visitng, with the road name, and maybe a bit of map, when we start the race

no fixed route - a list of checkpoints, a spoke card and an optional map (rough at best) will be available on the day plus pic of my wife who is the finish marshal! - although she isn't finnish!

as always you don't need to do ALL of the checkpoints. the winner will be the one that completes the most in the shortest time and will get some sort of token.
