I've been enviously spying on this as you've built it up, and it's pretty much exactly what I'm lusting after at the moment. But dammit I'm poor right now. Sucks that you have to lose it before you get any of the fun :(

Yeah, i noticed you mentioned in an earlier thread that you might sell and i've been thinking about it for a while.....but i just cant justify it. Lovely bike though, good luck with the sale, if you split, i'd deffo but for some parts.
:)

Could make you an offer if youre desperate to sell, but not at the £650... let me know if interested
-

lovely machine - if you decide to split let me know, although it would be a crying shame as you've just built the little beauty up.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying. I'd rather not split, it will probably go to eBay before it gets to that stage.
What would you be prepared to offer if you think £650 is too much? -
• #7
£650 isn't too much.
in fact its too little. -

i said to myself i would buy this straight away if you sold it!
beautiful build,if this were 2 months in the future... and other assorted excuses.
great bike.
Im 6ft 3, and wondering if that 1foot of saddle to bar drop is going to hurt!

I don't now if you've done much LoPro riding, but I find the position to be really comfortable, personally. The bars can be swapped for bullhorns with a less extreme drop, if you'd prefer.
And there's no poiint making excuses; opportunities like this don't come up every !day!

Looks like an awesome bike. I think you should have a requirement on the sale that the gears must nor be removed! Might be worth trying on http://www.timetriallingforum.co.uk/ if you have no luck here

It would be a shame to convert it to single speed, but as long as I have the money in the bank, and the bank manager off my back, the buyer can do what they want with it!
Thanks, I've registered to the time trialling forum, and will post an ad inn classifiedds when I have been validated. -

I'd suggest somewhere around £750....
guessing from Zipp/DA average price- £100+
Rear Disc average price. £150+
price of the the new stuff. (at least 150)
and price of the frameset.. At least £200....
plus various other unspecified parts..£100+
so somwhere around £700-£750.
don't undersell it, is all. -

Okay then. Sensible offers in the region of £700 I guess. The reason I set the price at £650 is because I want to shift it asap, because I've got the bank bugging me and I need to clear my overdraft.

£400, and I can deliver to Liverpool street station.
also, where are you located?
I'm in suffolk at the moment.
anyone want to give me £160 for the disc? it has a schwalbe stelvio tub on there, and is fixed/free flip flop and can be provided with miche lockring and 16tooth cog, and a sachs 7 speed freewheel, and the cap to cover the threads on whichever side you aren't using.

Whats the condition of the disc (i.e. any decent photos?). May take this off your hands and Zipp Wheel if you can do me a deal!

bump
Unfortunately, I have a bit of a money situatuion, and the only way I'm going to be able to sort this out is shift a bike. It's really frustrating as I've litterally just finished this build (not even been ridden yet!), but it's the only bike I don't need.
It's a shorter LoPro with 700c wheels front and rear, ambrosio disc on the back with a new schwalbe tub and a sachs block (7 speed I think), and a zipp 440 on a dura ace front hub (radial)with a brand new continental tub (not even been glued on yet!). It has a brand spanking new FSA omega crankset and external bottom bracket with a single 50 tooth ring, a new sram teflon coated chain, and a brand new saddle. (I'll check the model do a proper spec list tommorow). It has a carbon seatpost, carbon tektro brake levers, cinelli LA84 bars and a brand new biba stem. The frame is in amazing condition, and the paint is still looking fresh. It's a slightly pearlecent off-white in real life. It has a NOS shimano 600 rear mech with a downtube shifter (frame only has braze-on for a shifter on one side). The head set is campag, I think it's an old 'record', but I'll check in the morning.
The brake callipers are weinmann single pivots, and I've managed to source some pimping NOS shimano white brake outer from the early nineties (brakes not fitted in the photo here, better photos to follow),
I think the seat tube measures 60cm c-t, but I'll get some proper dimmensions in the morning. I'm 6ft tall with pretty average propoertions, and it feels like it fits me perectly.
There are some more specific photos of components to be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/samdoman/sets/72157622711494375/
I'm feel offers in teh region of £650 seem reasonable for a bike like this? (let me know if I'm off the mark!?)
Thanks for looking,
Sam
