Gran Canaria - Suggestions/Tour Dec 11-14

Past that, have you been? How are the roads? Any places you'd say are amazing and the best ever in the world?

got back a couple of weeks ago, went for some surfing and fishing.
wished i had a bike there the whole time though. the roads looked great, well surfaced for the most part and some great coastal routes with some brutal looking climbs. actually looked into going there with a bike since i got back but alas it will be a while before i can go on holiday again.
pretty much the whole south east coast is package tourist hell but the rest of the island is nice, looks more like parts of latin america than "europe".

have a look on google earth to get some ideas for routes. the canary islands are extremely well mapped from satellite. we are going to tenerife for 3 weeks in december and do some rides up mount teide: hopefully the weather will be great.

cheers for the advice chaps. it's too many to fly too many bikes. i think we're gonna rent a car instead :( or bikes down there.

so it's this weekend! i'm amped! and i've rented a gearie because i'm worried about the charts i've peered at. can't wait to coast down huge hills this time.
