  • On the coat tails of the success of the last one, how about a christmas time one? I've talked to Steve and have been offered the 20th as the best date for us to have upstairs. People up for it? If so I'll confirm with Steve and start working on catagories and prizes.

  • I won't be in London around that time but it's awesome that another one is happening. If you want the score sheet thing Nhatt I can ping it over to you if you pm me your email.

I think rules for this one should be no tupperware no entry

    1. konijn! I've got a christmas cake chocolate truffle recipe I want to try...

Also, as fun as eating cheesecake with your bare hands is, plates and cutlery might be a good idea this time (bring your own if the pub can't spare?)

  • and a whip round for paper plates and placcy spoons!

  • Slightly off topic...

I'm trying to get hold of ingredients to make Flapjacks, but i'm confused as to what oats to use... all the recipes say rolled oats but i can never find em in the suprmarket.

Could someone point out the obvious?

  • rolled oats?

  • rolled oats?

Yeah thats what i meant, but can't find em, just porridge oats

  • rolled oats- when ever I see that on an ingredients list I just use porridge oats. Works fine for me.

  • Great cheers for that. Lame question i know

  • You can also expriment using machine cut oats for a different texture.
