You're about 10+ years out of date if you're going to make a web page with slices and tables.
Do your scamps in Illustrator (pixel for pixel) then look into basic HTML and CSS, keep it simple, learn one thing at a time but always bare web standards in mind.

Do your scamps in Illustrator (pixel for pixel)
Illustrator is vector based - ie: no pixels.

True, but you have pixel perfect management, what I meant was to re-create your web page as an artboard (pixel for pixel using the navigator).
This is Adobe's new work-flow for the web, so stick with it... greater integration with Flash, Dreamweaver coming, etc.

I see !
I am about 20 versions of illustrator behind, so ignore me.
Ok I have my site drawn up on photoshop.
Should I slice it up or save each layer and impirt them seperately on css or whatever.
As soon as I slice it and save it for web I get lost after this point, any help appreciated.
