For Sale: Cracked Condor Pista Frame and few other bits

My condor pista frame just cracked on the top weld just where the seat post goes in... no idea how it did it, the seat post was long enough... oh well

rather than fixing it, i am going to just get a new frame.

but was just going to see if anyone is interested in buying it to fix or what ever?
no idea what people would pay for it, im not too bothered. if its not really worth anything, i will probably keep it for a later date. but feel free to send me offers.

this is the frame...

it is from 05, its quite scratched from locking it up, but its in pretty decent condition apart from that...

also, the max flite saddle and deda newton 26 stem are up for sale which are shown in this picture.

Why don't you take it back to Condor and see what they say? They may replace the frame...

Length of stem?

im not sure on the length, its fairly long. i will measure it for you tomorrow.

the look carbon forks are for sale too...

i already took it to condor... they said it was too old to replace. the guy didnt seem to confident though.

i am not the first owner so i dont have any proof of purchase either

i might go in again tomorrow though...

Is the Condor Pista the Alu or the steel version?

Are the forks 1 1/8" ?

How much the Max Flite? Is it black and does it have the Vanox Rails?

Take it back and speak to the production line manager (i think), the gentleman slightly bald and with glasses, they may be able to offer a cheaper replacement or sth

the frame is 56cm

it is the steel version

i think the fork is 1 1/8"

the bars could be for sale, they are easton ea30

i am going to go into condor tomorrow i think and will keep you updated.

Whoa. That is a mean crack. I had my pista seat cluster crack too.

Luckily it was under warranty and they replaced the frame.

Still got it - riding rollers and Herne Hill.

They stopped doing alu after 2003.

Looks like a batch got done with an over-zealous brazer, unless lpg and the original owner (in this instance) were riding around with fuck all seatpost inserted.

Don't know what the warranty was on steel frames. Pretty sure it was 3 years for alu, but don't quote me.

You got insurance? Just as a fall back.

Just bringing this up again, pretty much forgot i still had it.

I did enjoy riding this bike, so it would be good to get the same frame again if anyone comes across one.
