For era-defining:
Amy Winehouse - Back to Black
Mark Ronson - Versions(apologies for this post).
There's not been much truly standout but some that come to mind:
Gotan Project - La revancha del tango
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
Lemonjelly - Lemonjelly.ky
Sigur Ros - TakkFuck - I've had a mellow decade. That's old age for you.

Interpol-Antics
Talking to some lads in the office about what musical legacy the last decade 'noughties'-/shudder/ will leave. It seems as though in the era of myspace, downloads etc. we can name plenty of good tracks but not many standout albums.
Give me your one favorite album from 2000-present.
