Can you measure the drop on the calipers, puhlease? Running some 700s on a 27" frame so need some deep brakage…
-
• #14
from the undercarriage of the caliper to the maximum brake block drop you've got 50mm addie, any good?
-
• #15
Ai, bugger. I need about another 6mm on top of that.
Thanks for the speedy comeback though! Really gorgeous brakeset… -
• #16
yeah i thought it would be a bit tight .. it doesn't scream 27".. ;)

• #17

Id love the GES saddle, and the flite too if not already spoken for - would need posting to the frozen north though - think Im still a newbie but ill try the PM route.
I'm in the process of a much needed clearout at the moment, so this is the first thread of components over this weekend - there should be another one as I get stuff sorted out and photographed - jeez it takes it ages.
right, hopefully some nice stuff for people here, i'll try and match the photos up with a description.

White Selle Italia Flite Titanium. With blue kevlar, early 90s. Real light at 204 gms. Very nice, not heavily used, no real scuffing, the material is a bit worn near the rail ends but nothing much. Even now a badass saddle. £20 SOLD
GES saddle, bio turbo replica so early 90s? Grey, silver, black striped fabric. very good condition, not used a lot, though there is a tiny tear on rear right hand side.** £12 SOLD**
Selle Italia Turbo, black leather, 1985. excellent condition, been treated too i think. turbo logos are mostly faded on the sides but not at all on the back and not much on front. logos are blue.** £25 SOLD**
Fujita Conpy, black suede, NJS stamped! Last two photos show wear areas - back right hand side lip covering missing and small patch from right side of nose. Still, a rare and dope saddle, if no one wants it I'll be rockin it... £14 SOLD
**Gipiemme "White Laser" CronoSprint Cranks
**These are from the late 80s / early 90s and are a great example of why Gipiemme is so dope. 170mm length, 144 bcd, ISO square taper. Part of the white laser road groupset which included hubs, brakes, levers and seatpost. The cranks are gorgeous and are in used but still very good condition. Solve your jones for white cranks without resorting to anything so vulgar as powdercoating. White, light, rare. £55 SOLD

Campagnolo
*Chorus RS Road Crankset, *1993
The dustcaps are integrated in the cranks bolts on the RS model, which is a nice touch..the bolts alone feel classy. chainrings are 53T and 44T. Very good condition. 172.5 crank arm length. Beautiful.** £45 SOLD**
/attachments/16708/attachments/16709/attachments/16710
*Nuovo Gran Sport Brakeset, *c.1980
Selling this complete as they should be together.. my favourite of the campagnolo brakesets just cos of the lettering both on the lever and the caliper. saying that i've just seen the appalling job i've done of a close-up on the levers..oh dear, well they are very cool. Good condition, few scratches, was £40 now £35.
/attachments/16711/attachments/16712/attachments/16713
*
Gran Sport Thin Cup Bottom Bracket*, late 70s
nice condition, bearings smooth. 113mm English threaded. **£15 SOLD **

Pms and dibbing but most of all meet-up arrangements and pay pal will secure any items you're interested in. Would prefer London but as several of the items are postable I will post within UK and Ireland but at an extra agreed cost.. though besta luck at the moment with the post (I'll be getting receipts). paypal details will be sent on request for those outside London, everyone in town I'll come somewhere to meet you, cash preferable.
