St Petersburg again

somone posted some cool places to go and check out for when i go to st petersburg tomorrow, and now iot is gone!

When I was there I was totally bowled over by the Hermitage.

Who has been to St. Petersburg recently? Not doing sightseeing, but need suggestion for places to hang out/eat in the evenings after work.

I went in May last year. Really enjoyed Kazbegi (Georgian restaurant) as recommended by an ex-pat local who knows most of the Georgian restaurants in the city. Huge portions, very nice atmosphere. Then close by is Top Hops, which has a pretty good selection of craft beers.

Yeah nice area, then again over three days we were there we barely touched public transport because most of it is walkable. I was racking my brains to remember the name of a cool restaurant we went to as well, but my gf's just reminded me it was an Israeli place which made it easy to search on: Bekitzer.

Most of the tourist attractions are pretty obvious but the interior of the Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood (!) particularly blew my mind!
