I've used CF-root Kernels as part of my escape-stock plan before, but not on a Nexus.

I've been kitkatted up since yesterday on my S3, kinda missing all the bits that had been themed and improved on jellybean. I'm not quite sure what has been made better and I'm annoyed with the nestle tie in.

Just renewed my contract and got a bit of a deal... Its now just a 30 day rolling contract and is 13 quid inc vat for 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1.25 gig data. Me happy. It'll be nice to be able to regularly stream things now!

Why'd you install it if you were unaware of what it does?
Here's Tom with some pretty marketing blurb..

but maybe not for you -

How much space does the Android OS take? and will there'll be enough space?
-
• #13474
On my ZTE blade which admittly is running 2.3 android
I have 138mb partition for the OS & 315mb for data
Then have around 11gb of apps installed on the SD card.So 8gb will be enough but you are going to have to be selective about your apps

Following VB's lead I've just rooted the N5 and installed F-Droid and AdAway and added the someonewhocares hosts list to the defaults. Will report anything that goes squiffy.

Can anyone recommend a good case/sleeve for Nexus5 specifically with cycling in mind?
Bumper cases aren't ideal as I'd like some sort of insulation between weather/expensivephone/sweatyme when it's in a jersey rear pocket.
Google sell a neoprene sleeve for the 7 – something like that'd probably be great.
