Fixie riders with front brake/dropbars

...where do you guys mount your brake lever on dropbars? I'm torn between having it on the horizontal part at the top or on the vertical drop bit at the front?

i've got mine on the top tube for added aero

Most people not using OTP 'fixies' and track drops put it right next to the stem. Track bars are too deep to ride in the drops all the time, for most anyway.

Having your dummy lever on the tops is probably redundant.

Hope that's not confusing as well.

I have a lil bmx lever mounted just next to my stem , only for emergency use as I ride on my drops 99% of the time (due my huge frame) but it's easy enough to grab it when needed.

I think road levers look daft when you have just the one...

for a truly custom look, you could get the 531 natural, and let it turn rust brown naturally - that would be cool, but brown might have gone out of fashion by then.

pale green or blue. you must have brown saddle and bartape, frame must be conversion with bb too low and slack angles and drops that never get touched.
