Wanted: A Rather Large Track Frame

Posted on
  • I'm looking for a 62-64cm track frame. Made of steel.
My budget's in the 200-250 range - obviously I'll buy something for less, and if it's really super-duper special I might go a bit higher.
In a perfect world, it'd be slightly relaxed track geo (e.g. grass track, BJ Vigorelli-ish) so I can have the option of squeezing some fenders in there. Sacrilege, I know. And yes, I know I could get a brand new BJ for less than 400. That's my next stop if I can't find anything here, I guess.
Anybody got one they want to sell me?
    Cheers.

  • I have a 62cm Steamroller that's up for grabs - it's in mint condition, frame was powdercoated matt black at Armourtex, forks were rattle canned. It has a few stickers on it and would come without the headset that's pictured. Was looking for around £200 for it.
Let me know if you're interested…

  • How 'around' is 'around 200'?
Steamroller frames have been sold on the forum for the same or somewhat less, and without stickers/with headsets and bottom brackets, etc. And when I think of the Chesini that I almost got for 130 it makes me weep.. Not that I'm suggesting you go THAT low, mind.
Also, what year is the frame from?
