  • The gorgeous Focale 44 bikes have just dropped. Check the website here:-

    http://www.focale44bikes.com/products.html

I've had a go and they feel really solid.

  • Yeah they look really solid, but then so does this:

  • worlds slowest loading website...

The noble does look pretty sweet, like the bar/stem combo.

  • I think they look as if they would be good for a very basic beater bike, I would also like to drop one off a kerb to see if the welds on the track ends would hold. If it's under £250 it's a pub bike winner for me. Is this another bandwagon jumping bike built for people who want to ride a 'fixie'?, I think there may be a fair few of these rusting at the bottom of the garden next year, next to the broken create frames.

  • Do you like the fact that you can't adjust the angle of the drops, or that you cant change the stem if the reach is wrong?

If they come in at £250 for a complete bike I will buy you one!

  • not worth any more than that IMHO.

They have many different configurations so just choose the correct one.

Oh no, sorry, that is what they should have done :-)

I like the fact they look super smooth - and that if were going to buy a pair (which i'm not) I would try them to see if they fit.

  • iirc they're around the £450 mark

  • iirc they're around the £450 mark

That is the sort of amount I would expect. I think mobidog is living in a different decade :-)

  • Another one with the no brakes, no foot retention set-up.

  • Just show me why it's worth more than double the Unipack? I am amazed that people will buy this for £450!!

  • Fucking hell

  • wow - unbranded parts, unbranded cranks - I was thinking £350-400 tops!

well, that's the price you pay for a funky fashion accessory like that there!

  • hi

just joined dose anyone know what the best fixie is are these expenssive? please advice thanks in advance CG

Is the Unipack full 4130 frame and forks? Wouldn't the frame and forks sell for around £200 on their own?

I agree with you though, I can't see why anyone would pay that price for this.

This is guaranteed to be faster than any other fixies you may see, mainly down to the stealthy black paint. This helps the bike build up speed, due to lowered air resistance, which also makes skidding and other fixitrix much easier and cooler to do. And you know, white and black are like totally the new white and black.

You should definitely buy this one, they will surely sell out quickly.

  • they've been released (as i gather ) by superstar bmx as their "BIG BIKE" brand, so the unbranded are likely to be their ow designed parts, unlike unipaks which i'm guessing are assembled from other stock parts.

theres lots of very expensive integrated bar and stem combo,s so not being able to adjust the angle wouldn't be a problem to certain riders, don't know what the one bolt clamping mechanism will work out like tho...

  • a turd with glitter on.

  • a turd with glitter on.

    Is that a request MrSmyth?

  • i thought these were being made by some french bmx makers, so they're probably gonna be strong, but not light, right?

    It's not a BMX thought
