Perhaps dependant on the tyre?
The only tyres I have used on mine are Schwalbe Marathon Plus which at 28c go to 100psi. -

sound suitable, just wanted to check the rims arent only rated for 60/70psi like some other 29er rimsI hate that flat sluggish feeling

They are 28mm wide which was narrower than I wanted. As 3mask states this means that you need to run at least a 28mm tyre on them.
