Wanted: Weinmann 730

Anyone got one?

i think i might have a pair however i don't have replacement brakes os ideally i would like to swap them for a pair. The brakes say type 730 on them but the brake levers only say weinmann on them i'm afraid i can't show you a picture as have no camera. they have a several scratches on both levers and brakes.

damn! i only have front brakes and no levers! is there any way of buying them?

umm not sure i would need to be able to buy another pair of brakes with the cash, so how much are you willing to pay?

I've got a spare rear 730, you'll need to change the bolt to make it fit on the front... Nice and shiny too...

Its been bugging me ever since I saw this thread. I thought I'd got some somewhere, so I've just been rumaging in the garage and found a huge box of brakes. I've got sevral pairs of 500s, quite a few 730s and even some 810s. They all need a good clean, but are generally complete and fully functional. I could probably find some new cable adjusters as well (they always seem to corrode and break). Probably got some newish brake blocks as well. Don't want the Earth for them, but what is the going rate? PM me if you are interested. Will sell as pairs or fronts only. Also got loads of levers, including suicide levers (new) and bagged Raleigh (made in Taiwan) levers for straight bars - I think they are for normal diameter bars, but I will check if there is any interest. I'm in Lincoln, not London, so all items will be plus P&P at cost.

I've a type 730 front which I can give away soon since I'll swop my old fashion puch clubman bended fork to a straighter one which then goes with a short reach brake(which I have)...
If you still need one, hopefully next week it should be fine...
