What didn't you like about them? I'm considering a pair myself.

ive got h+at rear and they dont seem to be sitting nicely on them. Maybe it neads braking surface?
it still is a nice fit but not the best.ahh just realised I lost the front mudflap thingy!! I tighten the secrew as hard as I can! and only after 1 day!#
very annoyed -

I have them on the Rourke and they are great, just bought some for the fix but only have the clearance for the rear, so now have a spare front, which could be used on a rear
-
• #6
there. the front bottom end is missing.
-
• #7
the rear might fit better if you put them further down the seat stay, near the dropout, rather than halfway?
-
• #8
yeah i know that picture too..
I did and it doesnt really work. -
• #9
anyways its not for sale anymore.
thanks -

I'm taking everythg I said about the guards. Mr crud emailed me straight away offering a new packed set so I can get a refund or just the missing piece.
Plus after fiddling more it became a much better fit. -

I'm running a 28c on the rear, but it says they only work on tyres up to 25c.
Is this true or do you think they'll fit?
-
• #12
p.s. do they come with the brake brideg attachment for running brakeless?
-
• #13
They don't fit 25mm rubino pros, don't know if other tyres fair better...
-
• #14
I don't thk they will fit on a 28.
I used another ziptie with a piece of rubber under it on rear -
• #15
I can just get them on my maxxis 25's so doubt they'll go on 28's
(I did the same as Tamu on fixing to the brake bridge) -

i just fitted a pair of these and the front is noisey and annoying. But i have a dry butt so it cancels it out

Dunno if it's too late, but they do fit. I now have a 28c Randonneur on both wheels and they are pretty much perfect.
p.s. do they come with the brake brideg attachment for running brakeless?
Nope, but I used another ziptie through/round the brake bridge and looped the one supplied through that.

Me 3.
Yeah I bought some today and they were a bit fiddly to fit right, but maybe I was just faffing about a bit too much. As long as you adjust them properly they don't rub at all, and as I said above they fit perfectly over 28c Randos. Good mudguards so far. Nice and sturdy and don't have the wire rails that Raceblades do, so they can't bend out of shape.

^ I had no luck trying to get them on a rear Rando, might have to try and have another fiddle.

+1
They were bit fiddly to put them on (I placed one back to front - doh!), but once in place it's quite obvious how to fit the again. Don't lean the bike on the wall, because then you'd have to adjust the rear mount, so it doesn't touch the tyre - wich it like to do a lot for some reason.

I have just fitted mine on lavoro the other day. Just the rear one, no need and not enough clearance for the front one (toe overlap).
On the back on the new lavoro the bridge is quite high so I had to fiddle a bit there as well. I've put a zip tie on the mudguard and made it into a small ring and then zipped that with two zip ties on each seat stay just underneath the bridge and adjusted them so that they are tense and the mudguard is centered on the wheel.. Damn, I could have put a picture or just use 10x less words If my english was better :D -

do you happen to have a picture of this? my pompino uses v-brakes so i face a similar problem when attaching this on the rear.
thanks.
Hi folks,
brand new roadracer mudguards. I put them on but didnt like them.
Yeah so I would like to get what I paid for them which is £22.
