I have made it through to the finals of UK ‘beauty pageant’, Miss Black Britain 2009. Exciting! I am being sponsored by 14 Bike Co and Sticky Skin (plasters for darker skin www.stickyskin.co.uk)The final will be on November 14th, tickets available from www.ticketweb.co.uk: search 'Miss Black Britain'. They are priced £30 to £95.

I was going to enter this but i had a ride the same day

No excuse man, I had some serious bruises up my thighs after falling off my bike after the East to West ride for BFF...nothing a bit of last minute cover-up couldn't handle

My wife did hair, make-up and fashion styling for the Miss Zambia UK pageant.

And again for the winner before she went to compete in this year's Miss Universe contest.
