A box? Bubble wrap? Gaffa tape?
Fecking jiffy bag?Seriously, if you want to make sure they arrive safely, chuck them in the box, but also prepare fillers/dividers for the box to keep the bars in place. A rectangle of cardboard with a cut in the middle will do. Bend it to give it a V shape and fill the whole box and slide the bars in the slot in the middle. You get me, blud? Or not?

Look how my frame was packed - with dividers/expanders (?) - to give you an idea. The thing is, try to immobilise it and it should be ok ;-) Bubble wrap on top or those marshmallowy thingies retrieve from some parcel you received of an eBay selller.

Wrap with newspaper.
Then wrap with tape.
But if you stick in the correct sized box, UK postage is about the same.

bubblewrap and plastic bag should be fine. Anytime I've ever bought them new from shops online that's how they arrive-sometimes not even bubblewrapped.
Finding boxes for bars is a pain in the tatties.
