Having never ridden either, i'd say Flyer, unless you want it for tricks/polo, in which case Langster. I base this on nothing but my preconceptions of each.

The new flyer just looks so shit! I quite like the look of the new Langster.

The main diff being steel vs alu. Ride them both.

Had a Langster, got a Flyer, get the Flyer (but don't get the new one - it looks piss poor and you can save yourself some cash). Also consider the steel Langster which looks impressive but to be honest, you really need to try them out and see which one suits you.

Both are bikes, no brainer really.

The big plus for the flyer was the carbon fork which is not present on the new model.

As I understood it the flyer has very standard road geometry, and it was the butted steel frame carbon fork combo that gave its reputed nice ride.
