Im in need of a shorter cinelli stem than the one on my bike and picked up this because it was cheap. While buying it I was thinking - "pfff! Its only cosmetic a factory canti hole is way bigger"
But after finishing my road bike project (its got a different longer stem on it right now) and actually riding it ive noticed I already get paranoid about bits falling hammering down fast descents. If I had this stem with a badly bodged hole in it I think id always be fearfull of stem snapping.
Plus my bike actually looks pretty good right now, especially the front end. Id have to do something weird like mount computer on stem to hide the hole.
You lot reckon its safe to use? Want to donate me a stem without a hole?
