Hello London,
I stumbled upon this thread while trying to find out more about my Bianchi Mega Pro.
I currently run it as a singlespeed without any means of tensioning the chain.
I do this with a gear ratio of 39t (which was one of the rings on the stock 39/53 double Campy Chorus crankset) combined with a standard 16t BMX cog.
This gives me a perfect chainlength if I use a half-link in my chain.
Assuming this has identical chainstays, who ever buys this could do the same. That is all,
Matthew

wow i bet thats the last thing you reply you expected to posting this sale
For sale 1999 Bianchi Mega Pro L veloce.
Very very good bike. Just done most of end to end on it.
Has carbon forks, the hubs spin very very well (what would you expect for campaq), I could overtake my friends easy freewheeling downhill in scotland.
Condition quite good, apart from scratch on top tube, & a few scrathes on forks. Comes with 700x25 armadillo tyres just put on before end to end (they cost £50), also serviced before end to end, and spokes retentioned as well.
Excellent bike, I know its old but its still very light, its got carbon forks, new tyres and has recnetly been serviced. Frame size 55. If your new to road bikes, thsi spec is way better than any entry level bike, and cheaper too. Does not come with pedals.
Jeff 07786365943 Bristol. Price £325 firm, or its not worth me selling!
If you could magic gear it, the frame would make a good fixed or single speed (does not have horiz drops)
Looks the same as the one in this pic apart from one in pic does not have standard ITM stem, or selle italia saddle as mine does:
