Contrary to what Campag say, the QS front mechs work okay with non-QS shifters.
FYI, you can also get separate clamps to attach braze-on mechs to non-braze-on frames.
Whatever.

Campag themselves actually say it works, but would "require at least two lever movements to effect shifting". I have read that it should be fine, but since I would need to source a correct clamp anyways, I figured I will see if I can get a non-QS mech.
Pifko - I'll give it a day or so to see if I get a non-QS one (just for consistency sake really), and if nothing comes through and you still have yours, I'll take it.

Well, for the sake of semantics, requiring "at least two lever movements to effect shifting" isn't 'working okay' in my book*. Just as well you can get plenty of throw with one lever movement to engage the big ring :/
*have you read it? It's a tour de force.
