Frame building scraps

really really want to have a go at frame building, i know it takes time, money and patience, i also know you should have a bit of practice.

any frame builders have any scrap off cuts etc that i could practice welding/ brazing.
would be hugely appreciated

Bicycle Magic, Whitechapel, often have old broken frames in the shop. If you ask nicely they'll let you take them away for free,

apprentice? sounds like a great plan, but at the mo my welding skills are appalling so rectifying that.
