I am selling my 80s Peugeot as it's just a little bit too long. I believe it is a PH12 or PH11, something like that, from 1984ish. It is either carbolite or HLE.
It's a mid-range model and came with quality components compared to other 80s pugs I have had and seen - Ofmega, CLB, Solida, Maillard/Pelissier etc. Nice chrome forks, internal cable routing for the rear brake. Long horizontal dropouts and rear derailleur hanger. I am pretty sure it's 58cm square but I will double check in a minute
This afternoon I was trying to strip it for parts, but found out the stem is stuck and as a result so are the quite nice Atax handlebars and Ofmega headset. Also a Solida crankset, (170mm and the inner ring is detachable), and some toe straps
I realise this is going to cost the buyer a little time and money so I have reflected this in the price. I originally wanted about £50 for the F+F, but now £60 will get you F+F, cranks + pedals, stem and headset, bars and brake levers.
I think Mend-a-bike in Fulham can remove stuck stems for about £20, but you probably won't be getting the stem back.
I am particularly disappointed about having to give up the bars, they won't come out in my camera phone but they've got a little guy racing on one side, and a laurel on the other side with 'Atax Franco Italia 90'
It is a lugless frame, with very nice fillet brazing which you can see in the pictures. I stripped the paint off so I could lacquer it, but as it was pretty sunny this summer I never lacquered it. It looks awesome when it's just been polished and the weather is sunny. It's not so sunny now though, so I can give you a free bottle of lacquer, can of BBQ paint or tin of silver Hammerite to cover it up if you want.
It doesn't come with the wheels, but it comes with the chrome forks, Solida cranks, Atax stem and handlebars, and CLB brake levers, the BB, which needs adjusting slightly, and some toe straps, Christophe? I don't know, but the fabric has little 'muddy fox' logos on it.
£60,
Putney or Victoria/Knightsbridge areas. I'd rather not post but I will if I have to, for £12
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
