few pairs of wheels on ebay, top dollar for un-laced rims

Nice, and everything. But so expensive! You may as well buy Ambrosio Excellence for that.

right, those MA2s are 32h and obviously tooo pricey. Looking for something similar to that then if these are either not easily available anymore or too pricey. Any ideas apart from the ambrosio excellence?

These are nice, cheap as chips, perfectly good rims.
http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Rigida-Rigida-700c-AL1320-Silver-Alloy-Rim-(622-13)-36-hole-17917.htm <<<<ooops there's only one of those left.
Rigida do a box-section rim called Sputnik, I think Shop14 carry them.
Mavic Open Pro? or Open sport?
DRC do something called Classic, a decent rim that's a copy of MA2, now discontinued but you might find some.

Yikes, those nos ones are crazy money.
I have ma2 on my bike(sorry, not for sale) and paid £40 for the rear(laced to 105 track hub) and £40 for the front wheel on a da hub.
Both in perfect used condition so dont give up hope. -

They're a wholesaler, but call em up and you can arrange to go there, they're in Harlesden.
I gather BLB sometimes have these rims too.
thanks for that.. i'm surprised actually, since that shop is really close to me and i have never noticed it, and i have done googling and never come across it ever.
