14 Bike Co Builds

I'm considering getting the 'EBM Trick Frame' from Shop 14 and was just wondering if any one has any experience with shop 14 builds and the ebm in particular.

Its called the ESB, and you might wanna find out the price before you carry on "considering", as the frame and fork are likely to be well over the £500 mark considering it uses a mix of Reynolds 853 and 631, as well as a BB shell and headtube made from a steel alloy thats tougher than T45.
I've had a ride of one, and its pretty much the best trick frame out there for fixed, plus the build quality/materials used are way beyond what other manufacturers are doing right now IMO.

Very nice bit of kit, but not cheap.

Fully worth it though if you're gonna thrash it for its intended use, but a bit pricey for pottering down brick lane for a latte....

The volume cutter has a life time gurantee, and is made by a bmx company and is also half the price of the ESB...

Silly question maybe but do you weigh much?
Real men like crazy james need the added strength of the 14 ;) whereas no doubt mere mortals like the rest of us will do just fine on the volume. Even more so with the guarantee.
Have you thought about waiting for the charge scissor? Ugly as fuck but superted approved so will have had more destructive testing than anyone will ever put a frame through.

careful, it can be dangerous going in either with an open mind...

haha i usually go in with a healthy dose of cynacism and no bank card.
keeps me safe in there amongst the shiny things
