Cool robin,
I'll be in at 9, When will you be able to get it?
-
• #4
ill be there for about 9.30
is it ridable or should i bring tools/ walking shoes?
Thanks! -

Don't know, might be a good idea to prepare to walk.
It is a rather large frame, so I don't know if it would be suitable for you, Robin, but have a look.
-
• #6
If it is too big for Robin then I will gladly take it off your hands as Project Beater.
-
• #7
if neither want the brakes and they're working, I'd like them for my beater.
I am too small for the frame however.
-
• #8
I'm tempted to put together a winter fixed with mudguards and possibly an integrated basket on the front a la !Nhatt, probably won't be needing the rear brake though if you want it, and if this frame proves too large for Robin.
-
• #9
certainly. I'm building a freewheeler to lockup outside as a "trip to the shops without having to negotiate 3 flights of stairs" bike.
-
• #10
It's gone, I'm afraid. He is thinking to exchange it for a smaller frame, so if you have a smaller frame then it could be yours.
-
• #11
yep
-
• #12
let me know if you are passing the frame on- happy to pay you what you paid for it.

Funnily enough, another bike up for grabs. Need to be collected ASAP. It's not ride-able, it's another 80's pug (this time it really is a pug), thinking it's about a 56.
no dibs because I'm not spending the day online, call brixton and ask for Nhatt.

BTW, When I say it's nit ridable that means that it needs new wheels and brakes, not that it is completely fucked.
-
• #15
None of you for a free bike? Really?
-
• #16
dude I can't find the wheels for the frames I have now, I don't need more 'artwork' to cover my walls and snag on my other halfs dresses.

Nhatt, seeing as you seem to be having lots of luck finding bikes nobody wants. If you find one with a 26.0 seatpost, nab the seatpost and clamp for me, would you?
-
• #18
Nhatt, thanks for posting these on here. I don't want to sound as if I think I could order one (happy to be told off), but I'd be interested in a frame, if one came up, around 60cm. I'm going to start building up a pub beater/polo bike soon.
-
• #19
Could be a big enough frame, I'll pull out the tape measure.

Ah, I popped into the shop on Saturday to see you about this, but you were out at lunch. Fail on my part. Its the white disassembled one on the right?
-

Indeed.
If this guy doesn't get it by noon, i'll put it back up for grabs.
********EDIT***********

I think it's a 56, could be a 58. It's a complete bike, would be a good project. It's at Brixton Cycles, you can ring me (nhatt) there after 9. Must go today.
