Wanted: Fucked up Bike Bag that I can tin after one use

Hi,

I'm travelling to Cologne on the Eurostar / Thalys with my bike. I have to bag it on the Thalys leg, but I can't carry the bag back to London 'cause I'm riding back for charity.

Does anyone have a "distressed" bag they no longer need that I can humanely dispose of in Bad Fahradsatchel?

Pick up in London needed. Will pay an ayrten, or donate a score to charity - supplier's choice.

Timing Fail. Thanks anyway. I have this theory that bike bags are like umbrellas - the world is flush with them when nobody wants one, but as soon as the need arrives they are gone like Matt Bianco.

Thalys insist on a "zipped bag, 1200x900mm".

Does anyone know how "German ticket inspector" they are about it in practice?

a £2.50 market laundry bag is zipped. Provided your bike isn't huge you should be okay, Our polo bikes fitted in fine (single speed and narrow riser bars, though).

You can get the ones they used to give out free at the airport online somewhere, I think you need to search for aircraft bycycle or pushchair bag, not expensive.
