So your database file is well and truly fucked? Or just part of it?

Never used the product but can't you export the DB from ver9 to ver 9.2?
Also what is the actual problem with the DB files?
And is this whay you are matt (baddesigner)?

the files are .sc9 extension, as are the ones from the older 9.0 so i tried switching them but no luck.
the problem is i forgot to back up the 9.2 database files, with all my sets and settings, and then re-installed windows etc. so now the files are fresh, empty and thats a lot of hours sorting typefaces to look forward to.
so yes. yes it is.

Is there an option to import the old DB files into ver 9.2 as just copying them into the folder that holds the DB files is usually not enough.

Had a similar thing with 9.2 crashed for no reason and wasn't able to salvage anything, switched to nr 11 since it's the only decent thing i found for a pc (yes I'm a designer working on a pc...)

Does anyone have a serial for the new version - Fusion 2?
Downloaded the trial 30days and now I'm stuck, not paying $130, that's fo sho.
Would really appreciate.
hello.
i've gone and forgotten to back up my PC Extensis Suitcase 9.2 database files, where i had organised my 4,000+ fonts into genres. which was hell. which i don't want to do again. which is why i am asking for help.
so, does anyone out there run Suitcase 9.2 on a PC and, if so, could you email me your database files? i know we are unlikely to have exactly the same fonts, but i bet it would get me 30% of the way there, if not more. anyone?
