Trade: Bike to Lend or Loan

Hi All,

I have a friend coming into town for four days from the 20th of September. I was hoping I could borrow a bike from one of you kind souls. He's so desperate to be able to ride he said he wouldnt mind renting one either. I know its happened in the past, and he's not picky so if any of you guys can help that'd much appreciated. There'll definitely be a few pints of your preferred tipple in it for you at the least.

Any ideas on any rides or bike related events for those 4 days would be good as well.

hello everyone, my name is victor from manila. we have a growing following of fixed gear riders in the philippines today (40 or so riders, and increasing!) i was wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction to either

a. renting a fixed gear bike

or

b. lending a fixed gear bike

come july 10th!

well i have loaner bikes geared or fixed depending on your size obviously

was in ny last month, and was kicking myself for not renting a bike to get around and see the city.

i ride a 54 usually, i'm 180cm in height! dicki, would you be willing to rent out a fixed gear bike?

my frames are a bit bigger than 54, the geared bike with saddle down might just do it but the fixed is a bigger 57 - 58 frame

i was really hoping for a fixed gear, but with all the talk about black cabs and how they never stop for anybody or anything, i think a geared bike with brakes would be better! i shall private message you contact details if you're cool with that? hope to ride soon!

Hi I am involved in a charity ride for Diabetes UK. I am riding from John O'Groats to Lands End but at present only have a mountain bike that I have adapted with road tyres. Obviously the gears, handlebars etc are all wrong for such a distance so I am looking to either buy very low cost or loan a bike to complete the ride on. I will of course get the bike serviced at the end if someone would be good enough to loan the bike. Ideally I would like to buy one then the responsibility is mine. Is there anyone out there with a bike sitting idle? Please either reply ot the thread or call me on 07896 803071.
