you would need to find the specs of the tubeset. doesn't zero uno replace eom-16? therefore it's their top end tubeset? the zero is often shaped with a bigger down tube at the bb area and the stays have a triangular to round profile, i guess they will make traditional round version too?
my choice would be the deda, a friend has a rourke built from the oversize tubeset and it's a very light stiff frame but still comfortable.
i presume the reynolds will be lugged? and the deda tigged? the deda will be lighter if so.

Dedi 16.5 - Exceptionally light top-of-the-line tube set. Best suited for road frames.
Dedi 14.5 - Designed specifically by Dedacciai for compact frames.
Dedi Zero - Large selection of tubes available allows the builder to highly customize this tubeset. Not recommended for riders over 175 pounds.
Deddi Zero Uno - Heavier gauge set designed for exceptionally sturdy frames. Large selection of round tubes.

it now seems a bit more confusing! -

so the zero uno is equivalent to reynolds 525? i really don't need the added strength of 631 so the deciding factor should be weight i suppose? any ideas on weight difference anyone?

It's quite possible that rather than draw the tubes for extra strength, Reynolds draw the tubes for the same strength, but at a lower weight than 525 (or equivalents).
Differences in construction techniques (lugs/TIG etc) will also affect the weight. I'd ask the builders for ballpark weights. I also suspect there'll not be a huge difference... -

The Orlowski are 1.8-1.9kg and the Bob Jackson are estimated at 4lb which is 1.8kg too.
Now I am in the throes of a moral quandry, the last guy i spoke to at bob jackson was a prick but the one i just rang was really helpful and nice; brick lane bikes are always dickheads but jacek orlowski himself is super nice by e-mail so now i dunno what to do!
i may just go for the orlowski, i think the polish economy needs all the help it can get :-/

I have an Orlowski, its pretty light and feels real nice and solid.
I would say its on a par with BJ, down to personal preference!

Yo, one day you might get a lovely guy at BJ, another time you might get a grumpy sod. They're all hairy arsed frame builders/painters from Yorkshire, it's what makes them great!

I weighted my Bob Jackson recently, it about 1,870kg, just to confirm the weight is correct.

What about a Witcomb? They're now made in Wales. Well in theory they are, not sure if they've moved yet, or what state the company is now in.

I got a 49cm blue Orlowski and some black non-machined deep-v's from brick lane.
Everyone there were actually really nice, nothing like the fire breathing dragons i was expecting!
Yo,
I'm looking at either a Bob Jackson or a Orlowski frame, does anyone know whether there is a significant difference in the weight between the bj reynolds 631 and the orl Dedacciai Zero Uno???
Thanks a lot :-)
Ty
