After few forum members suggesting this idea, I thought to go ahead and post this.

I need someone, who's used to roads (most of you! :P) to come up here, and help me out on quiet-ish roads (NW9) and help me to build my confidence and riding skills up.

I'm deaf, and I feel nervous at the moment riding and balancing. I'm hoping this is where one of you comes in and help me get over my "fear"

I have contacted various cycling training companies (TFL, LCC and CTUK) but got no responses thus far. So help a newbie out?

PM me or something. My number is in the private thread

    puts on flaming suit on

  • Contacted them, as well as CTUK. No response.

    PM Oliver then.

Done that twice, and he's also tried chasing up CTUK himself.

  • hi, im sure theres a thread about what jobs people on the forum do. im sure theres a few cycling instuctors

  • or do you just want someone to ride with, just for a bit of confidence

  • Someone to ride with just to get my confidence up a bit and practice etc.

  • found it type services offered into the search

  • were are you based,

  • Could you just not go out on the quiet roads yourself? No offense to NW London residents but there's fuck all there. You could walk your bike to someplace you feel comfortable and just start from there.

Well done you for making an effort with your post to mile ratio.

  • i have no problems heading up one evening, or probably a Monday if no-one else does!

Found it! PM'd 2 people from there. I live in NW9 on Blackbird Hill
