I don't think it's drilled front or rear, so you'd have to use clamp-on brakes if you're running SS
EDIT: quick google says that for £200 you don't get the fork, so you would be able to choose a drilled one. Still have to go clamp-on rear though, or possibly a coaster brake.

I saw one recently up close and the welds are absolutely shocking...
Its an ugly frame imo.

It looks cheap.
The Genesis Flyer is sold as a singlespeed bike and looks pretty similar to it if you like the appearance of the Tifosi. Probably pretty cheap for a frameset too.

Hmmm, i was worried that for £200 the frame would not be the best quality, and of course i was reluctant to order one without seeing it in the flesh. I do like white frames as i want to go with some bright deep-V wheels to provide a contrast and make the bike stand out ;-)
A lot of the new frames have some gash decals or are in really shitty colours.
Any ideas where i can see the above two frames around London?

For that price have a look at a Nelson £225 with carbon fork drilled front and back. Get it powdercoated if you don't like the colour

There is a Tifosi in Bikehut halfords in St Pauls and Evans round the corner on Ludgate Hill has the Flyer.

The Nelson is probably your best bet.

Hmm, i like! Just a kind of unrelated question on podercoating - where can this be done in London?

Keep an eye on Graham Weigh's eBay store. Regularly does Dolan Pre-cursas and crabon fork for about £170-180. Stickers are easily removed as well.

Ribble audax frames going for about £80ish at the mo....

I knew about them, now i 'm at 90% of completing my training bike, veloce, straight tusk fork etc...
i was buy it cause they claimed that it has columbus tubes and for its geometry specs.i was already having some km with a friends ck3 and i really like the ride, i could easily
say that its very close to tommasini zonal builds.if it doesn't satisfy my needs i will check my options for a custom columbus steel, but
i can't see any reason yet.Its appearance was a problem for me and thats why i decide to rip off the (excellent)
powder coating (~250gr) and paint it with some quality (~140gr).
OK, so i'm looking at building up my own SS bike from scratch. A lot of the frames i see new are massively overpriced or look horrific, but i have come across the Tifosi Pista CX frame which is £200 for the frameset.
My question is - has anyone any experience with Tifosi and will this frame provide a good basis for a SS bike?
