There is a great old early 90's iron horse on ebay i saw a minute ago (item number 260462750825). Have a search for it, it night be what you are looking for. Its pretty cheap but the postage from the states is not.

That's lovely that but I dont fancy those dropouts too much - there's yummy Klein on the uk site for not too much dorra but same issue.

Muddy fox courier comp on ebay...one of the first mtb's to sell in the uk, back when muddy fox were good.

You mean with horizontals i presume?
My dad had one of the very first muddy fox couriers after being a life long roadie, then falling in love with the fat tyres of my first mtb...i think even that may have had vertical drops though, but it was 23yrs ago so i can't be sure. :)Actually, looking at the pic it may have been semi horizontal.

When I was reading MBUK at 14 they always said if the bike had vertical or horizontal dropouts.
The first Muddy Fox bikes were horizontal if my memory is to be trustd -

sorry, yeah I did mean horizontal! There's a nice pink job on't bay too - but he wont ship and it's too far t travel from here t be worth it. I'll check out retrobike.. nice bunch over there?
I'm looking to build a fixed off road machine and I'd quite like an ols style (horizontal top tube) mountain bike - something with good paintwork, fully rigid, horizontal drops, and preferably in a gaudy late80's early 90's colour scheme... anyone got one they want shifting?
I'm in Manc so must be willing to post
