Where can I get the hockey tape or whatever it is you use for the grips? I tried a few sports stores, but they only have tennis racket tape

You could also use bar tape (I got some off george sport, he bought loads, think he was selling it on for £2 a pop)... or grips...

Or old inner tubes and double-sided tape.

If you insist on a shop, quite a few sports shops will sell field hocky tape, won't that work?

It's ok I think I have a solution, I've bought some zinc oxide plaster tape, I'm going to try that first.
