dude, it's been for sale for 40 minutes.
let it sit for a while, cos at this rate you'll be giving it away for free by tonight..... like that ipod. -

I sold the ipod for a price I was happy with, and I reduced this wheel because I thought £40 was a fair price and I won't be taking offers on that.

Jones PM'ed, 4130 posting is difficult for me at the moment because I work 6+ days a week and taking the time out to stand in a post office and wait to get to the counter is almost impossible for me right now, sorry.

CrazyJames, where are you based? Please private message me your details because I need a new back wheel immediately because i broke my other one recently. I would prefer a 11t driver, but 9 will be fine. How much are you asking for now, and can you please either upload pictures, or tell me the colour of the hub. Thanks a lot

£40 minus tyre/tube, 50 quid with tioga FS100 and tube, hub is orange/coffee colour (like a dark orange/brown) 36 spoke.
You can come round and have a look anytime, its a pretty sweet hub :) -

Ok, I am VERY interested. I personally won't be able to come and look at it, it will be my dad collecting on on his way home from work. Are you able to upload a photo of the whole wheel, and then a sepeerate one of the hub please. I am very very interested.
I RESERVE THIS WHEEL ;)

I noticed the freecoaster effect in the videos in the BMX thread. Anyone know how they work?
-
• #18
Yes it utilizes a clutch mechanism that disengages the drive mechanism when the hub rotates backwards past a certain point.

thanks a lot james, i'll check back later. please message me your mobile number and address to me because i am 90% going to buy it. the only reason i won't buy it is if it's extremely ugly, but a dark brown hub doesn't sound too bad. also, what day would it be best to pick it up? I cannot do thursday. And it will have to be in the evening
Bought secondhand from someone else, unused, been in my living room for a couple of weeks, cost me £70, selling because i've changed my mind about what i'm doing wheel wise on my new bike.
Spec is as follows:
Atomlabs pimp lite rim 36H in black with black spokes
Khe Geisha Street freecoaster with 9t driver (well maintained and running flawlessly)
Tioga FS100 tyre and tube with quite a bit of life left in it.
To build a similarly set-up rear wheel brand new would cost in you in the region of £140-150.
Yours for £40, ideal for cruiser, street mtb, hub is a bmx hub so standard bmx spacing.
Also for those who don't know what a freecoaster is, its a hub with a different type of internal mechanism that allows you to roll backwards (fakie) without pedalling, loadsa fun ;)
