Best Van Delivery Companies..?

I'm looking for a firm which can deliver a 54cm bike frame anywhere within the UK mainland, and isn't as extortionate as RoyalMail & ParcelFarce!!
I know some of yous use select firms (for reliability / price) and was wonderin if you could post em here for me?

I sent a frame via royal mail for £7. . . standard parcel, i thought it was very reasonable. . . although it was under 1 meter . . .

£7 !!? thats an excellent price rocker, I got quoted £54 =[ hmmm I'm going wrong somewhere...

www.senditcheap.com will collect from any address, last time I sent a frameset it was £10.

Zep, I just filled in the details on the website to book, havent checked out the site in about a year so don't know if it has changed, the driver who picked up the frameset I sent was in a DHL uniform and van. I presume they have accounts with various couriers and send whoever is cheapest or most convenient for them.

yea I suspect that site u gave me has changed since you last used it...check it - its all confuzzling now!

just wanted to share this with y'all

collect+ £4.49 for any parcel uk delivery up to the weight of 10 kilos

the deal is this if you dont know (i only learnt about them last week) you book the delivery on line. you drop off the parcel at the nearest drop off point of your own choosing from the list. the recipient then collects it from their nearest collect/drop off point.
its so simple and so cheap. i hope they do well.
