he said his tyres are shit, cos they have no tread, and on loose sandy stuff or in the wet, he always wipes out and ends up upside down by the wall.

The duranos are very similiar to marathon plus. Same blue belt, same compound, different/less tread.

I'm a fan of less tread as well. Conti gatorskins have been the best all around for polo tires I've used so far.

my duranos are doing pretty well, have been pleying on them since the Euros, and yesterday IN NEW YORK for 5 hours non-stop, and the blue is barely showing. On Marathon plus tyres the blue came out quicker I seem to remember. Also I didn't fall yesterday IN NEW YORK
