While they were renovating the bike shop I work in about a year ago they had to throw out around 500 tyres & even more tubes which had piled up.
Its a shame they couldnt have been used for recycling like this.

I have one, I made it myself about 10 years ago out of an old MTB tyre. Very annoying at airports, as it takes 10 mins to take it off, the tread gets cought on the belt loops.

I made one myself from an old Haro multisurface 2 BMX tyre, bought an old belt from a charity shop for £1.50 for the buckle and used 3 rivets.

someone who whilst not on or in the vicinity of their bike or a bike is wearing a cycling cap..
this could also be applied to someone who wears a slogan shirt.. like 'relax' or 'chill' or 'choose life' etc etc.

Is that like wearing a baseball cap when you're not playing baseball?
Or running shoes when you're not running?
Each to their own... Just sayin'...

Or wearing chaps when you're not on your horse.

or like when people wear car manufacturers clothes.. when they dont own the car. actually its just as bad either way.
ferrari/porsche jackets..
like that episode of friends when joey is blahdeblah i hate friends.no.. its nothing like that.
running shoes are ok.. if they're am1's, 180's etc, which are not traditional running shoes.. but if your busting pair of asics gel down your local rat and carrott then no.
but yeah.. i'm just messin' (bored) really.
