For Sale: Cannondale R600 (£300)

Hi all,

Recently bought this bike from Kingcutter. Its a 60/57cm frame in good physical condition, however it has a number of scratches and marks in the paintwork and is dying out for a powdercoat. I have covered 120 miles on the bike this week and it hasnt skipped a beat!

I have fitted a set of Shimano Sora 7 speed shifter and it shifts very well. I will try and get some cable ties to neaten up the cables down the downtubes before sale.

The bike rides really smoothly and feels light and controlable. I am picking up a Specialized Allez tomorrow, so need to aquire funds!

Noone does alu better than Cannondale.

Its a very nice bike to ride indeed. Ive switched over to a Specialized Allez Tripple (58cm) for commuting and am on the hunt for a carbon/alu based rocket for next summers competitions.

Its lighter then the Allez and feels a fair bit quicker. The Ultegra gear is a mix of brand new components with some good condition older 600 gear and it runs very nicely.

If it doesnt sell soon i might strip it down and respray the frame

Should have stuck with the 'dale, miles better than the Allez IMHO.

Allez fits me perfectly, so much so im saving the pennies for a Specialized S Works Tarmac

I recently got a Specialized Sequoia 04 and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Definitely thinking about upgrading to a new Specialized. Would be intersted to see how you get on with the S Works...

Ill let you know, but ill only be getting something like an S Works if i can actually do it justice. As much as id like a carbon kitted road bike, whats the point unless its put to proper use?

I have made several attempts to get get this bike, but between myself and the seller we cant quite arrange to meet up!, bloody job etc etc?

So its still for sale, and looks like a bargain for anyone wanting a geared bike!!

I'm very interested in that. I'm currently using a 58square frame for longer rides - is this 60 CTC or CTT?

60 CTC (but ill need to double check)

By the way, why are the gear cables taped on - no holders?

I have been busy with work after returning from spain just over a week ago, so a little update;

LH pedal is stuck, ive tried WD40 and a pedal wrench. but it wont budge. Id like to take it to a LBS on saturday to see if they can remove it, so will do this then.

If you're interested at viewing/picking up this weekend, i will be around most of saturday and sunday. Collection will be from Canons Park Station NW London (Jubilee line) or my house, 5 minutes from station.

Bike runs very nicely, i took it round the block and lubricated chain etc. so all runs smoothly. Will check measurements when i get a chance, Cables are currently taped on (could do with some cable ties to neaten up) as sti shifters have recently been installed. I still have the downtube shifters (Ultegra) if wanted.

Price remains at £280. However i can drop this to £270 if you dont need the Utegra Brakes (will replace for 1 year old unamed brakes from my specialized allez).

sp allez is downgrade in comparison to this bike (talking about 2009/2010 medels)

shimano 600/ultegra is better stuff than it comes on allez....
