  • Thanks for all the help in testing these.

A few forumengers have been using these for polo, freestyle and general riding and they have been getting good feedback.
The design is finally ready for production so add your name to the list if you are interested and I'll work through them.

Also, I'm around if you would like to try before buying.

After over 6 months of testing, JOL/Gurney Straps are finally ready for launch.

We have been testing our concept of hardware-free bicycle footstraps in a number of different guises over this time and feel we have perfected this product in the culmination of the Gurney Strap.

The concept was born from straps failing at the hardware/join point so we decided to remove this element all together. Our multi-directional hook&loop layer system prevents strap movement while being infinitely adjustable.

The construction of the straps provides rigidity to allow for easy entry and keeps the foot comfortably secure while riding.

Whether for Bike Polo, Freestyle or general riding, Gurney Straps provide a solid, adjustable and comfortable solution to foot/pedal interface.

Drop us an email to purchase or for more information.

  • Likewise if anyone wants to try these, i'm rocking these on my bike, and I shall be back at trix as per usual this tuesday :)

  • I have to say these straps are awesome! they feel really secure.. and stand up to the abuse of polo...

  • And there may be an opportunity in the very near future to cough get your hands on a pair cough....

  • And there may be an opportunity in the very near future to cough get your hands on a pair cough....

    yeah... cough cough

  • silly question, but how much are they?

  • Definitely want some of these please JOL. Just let me know when/where you want the cash...

  • Me too please... my homemade polo straps are falling apart.

  • They are 25 quid a pair to forumengers.
I'd rather avoid paypal charges and deal in cash unless people aren't in London.

Maybe it would make sense to start a list to keep this in order.

Thanks for the interest. Looking forward to more feedback.

  • I like them but I think I need to sort out some different pedals first.

  • Yeah sorry. These only work with BMX style platforms with holes in the sides.
Some plastics have small covering at these points that can easily be cut/smashed out but some metal ones do not have the required gap such as Gusset Slim Jim's.

You can get plastics from about 10 pounds.

I can compile a list of workable pedals if people want.

  • Yeah I want to get BMX style platform ones even if I'm going to be shouted at for it :P, was looking at Halfpipe's site earlier. Apparently plastic are shit to get though

I would like that list please?
